Conjunctivocystorhinostomy (CDCR) with the insertion of a bypass tube is a procedure in which a new lacrimal route from the conjunctival sac into the nasal cavity is created and a drainage tube is inserted between the inner canthus and the nasal cavity.The tube in place is consedered a life-long prosthesis. The procedure is mostly indicated if the upper and lower ipsilateral canaliculi are completely obstructed. The success rate of the procedure varies from 80-90%.

Czech description
Konjunktivocystorinostomie (CDCR) s inzercí trubičky je výkon, u kterého jsou vytvořeny mezi spojivkovým vakem a nosní dutinou nová cesta a do které je vložena drenážní trubička mezi vnitřním koutkem očním a nosní dutinou. Umístění trubičky v tunelu je nutné na celý život. Operace je většinou indikováno u obliterace horního a dolního kanálku. Úspěšnost operace se pohybuje mezi 80-90%.
