<The >Influence of Estradiole and Tibolone Administration on Leptin Levels in Women with Surgically Induced Menopause

Several studies suggest that hormonal changes during menopause play a role in the regulation of leptin (LP) production. Up to date evidence about influence of endogenous estrogens, androgens levels and HRT on LP concentration remains uncertain. 58 womenafter surgically induced menopause were divided into 3 groups. Group without HRT, group who received Estradiol l mg per day and group which received Tibolone 2,5 mg per day. The levels of LP, estradiol, testosterone, free testosterone, DHEAS, FSH, LH andprogesterone were measured in all subjects on the 5th day and after 3 months following the surgical procedure. Mean serum LP concentrations did not differ statistically in any of the studied groups in the begining and in the end of the study. There wasno correlations between serum leptin and estradiol, LH, FSH, progesterone, testosterone, free testosterone and DHEAS concentrations in any of groups before and after treatment. Vliv užívání estradiolu a tibolinu na hladinu leptinu u žen po chirurgicky indukované menopauze

Řada studií naznačuje, že hormonální změny spojené s menopauzou mají vliv na regulaci produkce Leptinu (LP). Současné poznatky o vlivu endogenních estrogenů, androgenů a hormonální substituční terapie (HRT) na koncentraci LP si protiřečí. 58 žen po chirurgické indukci menopauzy bylo rozděleno do 3 skupin. Skupinu bez HRT, skupinu užívající Estradiol 1mg denně, skupinu užívající Tibolon 2,5 mg denně. U všech pacientek byly 5. pooperační den a 3 měsíce po operaci stanoveny v séru hladiny LP, estradiolu, testosteronu, volného testosteronu a DHEAS. V žádné sledované skupině před ani po léčbě. nebyla přítomna korelace mezi leptinem a ostatními stanovanými parametry Změny v koncentraci pohlavních hormonů v důsledku ovarektomie nemají vliv na sérovou koncentraci leptinu. Také užívání nízkodávkové HRT nebo tibolonu nemá vliv na hladinu leptinu.
