Attended by 14 haematologists from Hungary, Croatia, Slovak Republic. This education workshop provided a small, carefully selected group of physicians interested in multiple myeloma (MM) and amyloidosis with an opportunity to spend time at a centre of excellence and discuss optimal approaches to patient management with international experts. The programme ran over three days (one full- and two half-days), divided between a training/educational programme of interactive lectures, laboratories and department visits/ward rounds, and discussion of case studies.
