Quality Evaluation of Management Education in Private University in the Czech Republic: Case study

Nowadays, quality of management education is considered to be crucial in universities to grow and maintain competitiveness thanks to continuous improvement. The aim of the paper is to evaluate the quality evaluation of selected management subjects in private Czech university. The results are based on a quantitative survey by questionnaire data collection in two independent selected samples – students (ns=793) and academic staff (na=50). The methods used were comparison, induction, deduction, and synthesis. Descriptive statistics and two dimensional statistical methods were used to test the results. The results show that students evaluate positively subjects (on the scale where 1 is the best and 5 is the worst; average value 1.75), lectures (average value 1.40) and also lecturers (average value 1.39) in the area of management. Modus and median values are 1, only perceived difficulty is 3; that means average compare to other subjects passed in the academic year. Additionally, the differences between attendant students were tested. Statistically significant differences were found between males and females in the area of work in studied program and plans for future job. The article addresses the main practices of management education, which methods are most commonly used and evaluated as the best.
