LC-MS/MS Studies on the Decontamination of Surfaces Exposed to Cytotoxic Drugs
Original language description
Decomposition of biologically active compounds is one of the most important problems of pharmaceutical and chemical industry. The VPHP method is nowadays developing like sterilization and decontamination method, therefore the analytical control of the level of decontamination as well as the oxidative product structure is of extreme importance. The aim of this study was to examine the removal and deactivation of cytotoxic contamination from surfaces. Cytotoxic drugs were decontaminated by technologies currently available in the pharmaceutical and healthcare environments and VPHP (I the physical removal of contamination by detergents; II VPHP) and results of both were compared.
