BIOFRUITNET project is focused on organic pome, stone and citrus fruit growing with the aim to strengthen the competitiveness of European organic fruit production by spreading innovative measurements. The project assembled access to the innovative knowledge in different formats. Information are provided in the form of abstracts for practice, educational videos and e-learning courses which summarize preventive measures in the field of pest and disease control as well as direct application of products permitted in organic farming. It is necessary to realize that until the 20th century stone fruits were grown in a fully ecological system. But we cannot take experience from the past time, because aspects and needs changed organic fruit growing, so today is organic stone fruit growing diametrically different. Innovative aspects are discussed in this podcast.
