Original language description
The effort of regions in the CR is strengthening their own competitiveness. In advanced countries, innovations represent a key factor of economic and social development. Built up networks are important for economic development based on knowledge and creation of appropriate environment for effective innovations. Statistical data relating to the innovative activity in regions are the important element in the evaluation of innovations within the region. This paper is aimed at bringing near statistical surveys dealing with the assessment of innovation efficiency that are collected by the Czech Statistical Office for every region (NUTS 3) in the CR.
