Heterogeneity and anisotropy of aluminium products
Original language description
The structure of properties of wrought aluminium alloy products are always heterogeneous and anisotropic. The rate of heterogeneity and anisotropy are affected by several factors. The type of alloy, forming method and thermo-mechanical treatment are themost important among them. The results of heterogeneity and anisotropy of extrusions from 2xxx, 5xxx and 8xxx series aluminium alloys are presented.
