The results of an investigation aimed at studying the influence of high temperature annealing on the structure and properties of AA 8006 and AA 8111 strips prepared by strip-casting and cold rolling are presented. The effects of the annealing temperatureand duration and of the degree of reduction preceding the annealing on strip microstructure and properties are studied.
