Over the past two years inbound tourism of Czech Republic has been noticing significant changes in the segment of arriving tourists. Amount of Russian tourists is decreasing, on the other hand, there is a significant increase of Chinese tourists arriving to Czech Republic. For Chinese tourists is our country not well known destinations, as well as for Czech workers, in the hospitality and tourism, are unknown the special characteristics of Chinese demands. Chinese culture is unique likewise the Chinese requirements. The article summarizes the basic features of Chinese culture and helps Czech workers in tourism, especially in the hotel industry and catering, to orientate in these specifics. This article is based on the project which we mentioned below.
