The Bolivian market is relatively unsaturated in all its economic sectors, with a consumer potential of 11.4 million people (2019) and the tourism sector is currently considered one of the strategic economic activities for Bolivia, it occupies a position far behind many of its direct competitors: other countries in the South American region. This is a clear indicator of the wide margin of improvement that exists in this sector. Bolivia's tourism offers mainly rely on its rich natural assets, making it the sector's diamond in the rough.
