Optimizing processes with Lean Six Sigma methodology
Original language description
The processes that are currently identified and mapped in the Czech Army Forces can be optimized by Lean Six Sigma methodology. Lean Six Sigma focuses on process management both in manufacturing and in services. It uniquely combines the use of statistical methods with tools known from the Toyota Production System. Its application enables companies or institutions to increase significantly their profit by minimising defects in processes and by reducing waste. Lean Six Sigma differs from other quality programmes: it offers specific methods and tools for transformation of processes in such a way that defects do not occur.
