    This work is dealing with silicide-aluminide ternary layers prepared by annealing of TiAl6V4 as substrate with deposited AlSi20 layers. AlSi20 alloy was deposited from melt. After solidification of AlSi20, samples were annealed at 520 °C for 100 hours. The prepared layer is uniform with thickness of 30 - 50 Ohm. By using electron microscope microanalysis, diffusion profile of silicon and aluminium was found different. Main phase found was analyzed as TiAl0,3Si 1,7, minority phase as TiSi2 by the RTG analysis. We expect that presence of high content of silicon in deposited layers can have positive effect at high temperature oxidation. Further work is in progress.
