Original language description
The standard EN ISO 14713 Zinc coatings - Guidelines and recommendations for the protection against corrosion of iron and steel in structures published in 2010 follows actual changes of EN ISO 9223 and EN ISO 9224 in the terms of zinc corrosion prediction. These changes make possible implementation of more accurate methods for short-term and long-term corrosion losses prediction of structural metals including zinc. The comparison of accuracy of various methods of one-year zinc corrosion loss is given. The accuracy of EN ISO 9224 equation for long-term corrosion loss prediction is relatively high in case the input value is determined one-year corrosion loss.
