Original language description
Service life of hot-dip galvanized coatings is given by the thickness of the layer and a zinc corrosion rate. Many parameters affect corrosion of metals in the water environment, including pH level, oxygen content, water temperature, agitation, presence of inhibitors, and tide conditions. The anchoring parts of a boat lift at the Orlík dam corroded after 1 year of operation. Their detailed analysis was performed.
