Original language description
One method of material protection against high temperature corrosion is aluminizing, when a surface of a material is saturated by aluminium creating an intermetalic coating with much higher corrosion resistance. Usually these coatings are performed at austenitic steels and nickel alloys by several CVD methods as pack aluminizing (annealing in a pack containing powdered aluminium). Within Czech project FR-TI1/225 a new type of aluminium based diffusion coating is solved, which should be very easy to apply. Application will be performed by dipping, painting or spraying with subsequent heat treatment.
