Verification of loading capacity of gas pipeline with defects and equipped with sleeves intended for an operational gas storage tank
Original language description
For the use of lesser-operated high-pressure gas pipeline determined for gas storage, some information was obtained about its safety at operational pressure increased opposite to current that (6,3 MPa - 8 MPa). Tha matter was a pressure pipeline sample of DN 500 seamless pipe made of ČSN 13 030 steel with large grounded defects and with protective "clock sping" sleeves. With regard to gas storage conditions, bearing capacity of this pipeline was also evaluated during pressure fluctuation in the wide pressure range. For obtaining information about limit capacity-bearing conditions for this pipeline with defects and with sleeves, the pressure pipeline sample was pressurized up to plastic deformation occurrence on free pipe, out of sleeves, up to 9.8 MPa.
