The report summarizes the results of experimental work and numerical simulations carried out in the frame of CRESTA 2 Project during 2014-2018 in MATERIAL & METALLURGICAL RESEARCH, Ltd., Ostrava, Czech Republic. It reports and summarizes the activities performed in the frame of WP 4 - Semi-industrial tube and forged components manufacture, namely the production of two semi-industrial heats of steels BEL 1 and Z 7, incl. numerical simulation of their casting, experimental verification of their hot deformability, hot extrusion of tubes, pipes and production of hot rolled strips, heat treatment parameters and the results of mechanical testing and metallography.
