    THE IMPACT OF NATIONWIDE CENTRALLY ORGANIZED STROKE CARE SYSTEM ON RECANALIZATION RATES: CZECH REPUBLIC EXPERIENCE

    Organized stroke care was proven to be beneficial for all stroke patients regardless of time, severity or subtype. Centrally organized system of stroke care can increase the use of recanalization therapies and make them available to larger proportion of patients. System of stroke care in the Czech Republic (CR) was centrally Abstracts 59 accredited by the Ministry of Health (MH) in 2011. From 2013 a compulsory triage of acute stroke patients was established for emergency services and 12 quality of care indicators are evaluated annually. The aim was to assess the impact of the centrally organized system of stroke care on the availability of recanalization treatment in CR.
