Curricular Process of Linear Algebra (Motivational Examples and Simple Applications)
Original language description
In this paper we will deal with the intended curriculum of linear algebra, especially with motivational examples and simple applications of vectors and matrices (linear combination of vectors, product of matrices, power of a matrix, inverse of a matrix, systems of linear equations, least squares approximation, eigenvector) and determinants (applications of determinants in geometry). These examples can be used in mathematical courses or textbooks as an illustration of availability of linear algebra toolsand as a motivation for study of linear algebra.
