The aim of this contribution is to emphasise the perspectives of the social and of the marketing communication of universities with the ppublic in relation to the opportunities that bring new - particularly the telecommunication - technologies and the Internet. From the methodological point of view, the contribution is mainly based on the methods of analysis and synthesis of the theoretical and the practical aspects of communication when modern technologies are used.The discussion connects the theoretical data, practical experience of the author with suggestions and recommendations that are focused on the possibilities of the innovation of the current technologies of schools, on the possibilities of interactive and participative teaching techniques, onthe tools of the content marketing and on the mobile marketing applications.
