The Regulation of Payment Services in Europe
Original language description
Payment system is one of the fundamental banks´ activities but also of other payment service providers specializing in that field. This activity belongs to another area that has been quite significantly regulated by European law since 2007. The aim of the paper is to conduct a partial analysis of existing regulations affecting the payment service provider in the Czech Republic with a comparison of the expected changes associated with the adoption of Directive 2014/92/EU on the comparability of charges associated with payment accounts, change of payment account and access to payment accounts with basic elements.
