The SEPA project can be considered the third significant domain in terms of regulation of selected financial market services, after Basel and MIFID. The submitted study aims to show the impacts of the SEPA project on the implementation of crossborder payments. A hypothesis has been set, which presumes that the SEPA project has implied or will imply also impacts on the provision of selected internal payment services. Methods of historic description, comparative analysis and deduction have been applied toattain the set objective and to prove or disprove the stipulated hypothesis.
