The possibilities of using blast furnace slag into GFRC composites ? summary after 365 days of ageing
Original language description
This contribution deals with the possibilities of using blast furnace slag into glass fibre reinforcement concrete, such as partial salvage of Portland cement. The purpose for applying the blast furnace slag into this composite is to save primary entering raw materials and indirectly to decrease the emission of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. The aim of experimental work was partial salvage of Portland cement in interspaced from 5 to 25 weight percentage in GFRC composite prescriptions. Further studies were focused to the influence of beating degree of blast furnace slag into composite physical-mechanical properties after 1, 7, 28, 90 and 365 of wet ageing. The effect of blast furnace slag on starting point of setting time and evolution of hydrationheat was studied by isoperibolic calorimetry. ISBN 978-80-248-1776-7
