Fire-resistant building materials and their testing
Original language description
The aim of the research was to develop fire-resistant gypsum-based building elements reinforced with glass fibres. The emphasis was laid on the utilization of waste material, low price of the final product, and on market competitiveness. A dedicated methodology for fire-resistance testing under laboratory conditions was developed during the testing of the key material characteristics. Installation channels for electrical cables were made in the pilot production. The fire-resistance tests were carried out in an accredited testing room.
