Active Roof Cladding System Reducing Energy Consumption of Buildings
Original language description
Described research project deals with the development of new economically effective solar energy roof cladding system. The main objective of the project is to develop thin-walled fibre-concrete elements with integrated photovoltaic and heat transfer layers, which will help to reduce energy consumption of buildings and fully replace the standard roof cladding at the same time. Photovoltaic elements temperature reduction will be achieved by application of heat transfer layers, providing heat transfer through a liquid medium, directly to a heat exchanger, where the excess thermal energy will be stored for further use.
