Bumble bees are more suitable for the pollination of crops grown in enclosed spaces such as greenhouses, because they are not subject to stress compared to honey bee. Now, for this purpose produced globally each year around a million bumblebee colonies,particularly the species B. terrestris and B. impatiens. Research has focused on breeding bumblebees still going on, because it is yet to be fully addressed some questions about farming and other types of bumblebee nests and the issue of protection against some serious insect pests.
