Original language description

The present work deals with grain refinement of medium carbon steel. The structure refinement was conducted in two steps. Preliminary refinement was achieved by open die forging and grain refinement was accomplished during warm ECAP at 400°C. The complexstructure of submicrometer order dynamically recrystallized ferrite grains and subgrain structure resulted from severe plastic deformation. The relationship between mechanical properties and microstructure is discussed.

Czech description

V práci je pojednání o možnosti zjemnění mikrostruktury uhlíkové ocele s využitím kombinace TM zpracování a metody extremní deformace ECAP. Výsledkem je dosažení komplexní struktury z části dynamicky rekrystalizované a z části zachovalé deformační. Rozbor substruktury umožnil zdůvodnit vzájemný vztah dosažené vysoké pevnosti a nízké plasticity.
