    Enhancement of strength of polycristalline materials keeping the toughness is possible through grain refinement. ECAP technique is contributing technology which reach for refinement of microstructure grain. This technique is based on severe deformation of metal profiles due to shear process without the change of cross section profile. The sample is extruded through the die, where two channels are positioned perpedindiculer each other. The process is realised by room temperature. The deformation level could be ten or higher. The number of passes and deformation sequence (turning of the sampe after each deformation pass) are the most important parameters for the microstructure evolution.
