The main aim of project is to find an alternative methods for joining of high-strength duplex steels with good ductility as a compensation of welding techniques. The main reason is a problematic weld strength of materials with controlled microstructure,because the weld affects the surrounding structure of the material in a negative manner. New joints were developed as a combination of pressing and hot-dip galvanizing technologies. This technology is proven in the frame construction made of profiles andpipes. Connections pipe-profile were made and tested and connections profile-profile are currently under development. Special forming tools creates a connection profile-profile in a one forming step.
