Original language description
Ultrafine grain structure evolution during high preaaure torsion of aluminium alloy AA6082 is presented. Two different initial states of the alloy were investigated. The progress in structure refinement in dependence on the shear strain level was studied. The impact of different amount of strain introduced was analyzed at increased temperature. The results of microstructure analyses showed progress with respect to introduced effective strain. The observed heterogeneity in structure formation depended onstrain level introduced. There was not observed a difference in structure refinement in dependence of the different initial thermal treatment of the alloy. The observed heterogeneity in ufg structure formation across the deformed discs was observed andno dependence of initial structure difference was observed. By increasing the strain level (number of turns performed), more homogenized UF grain structure was observed across the deformed discs, regardless the initial structural state of
