Original language description
The aim research was to determine the wear resistance of 6 samples steel (1.2343, 1.2367, 1.2606, 1.4112, 1.4153 and 1.4528) in contact with ceramic ball. During the test an indenter with a ceramic ball is pressed into the surface of a rotating flat specimen by a specific force. The holder is attached to a flexible arm, through which the dependence of the friction coefficient on the length of the ball's path is recorded by means of strain gauges. After the test, the profile of the resulting wear track is measured using a contact profilometer.
