Analysis of the heat treatment of cover cast

The aim of the research was to analyze the heat treatment of the cast iron cover using numerical simulation. The main output of the solution was the temperature distribution in the casting in the interest points during the heat treatment, which consistedof more than 10 operation (load temperature field after casting, cooling, heating, mechanical removal of risers, etc.). Solution procedure consisted of the following tasks: 1. Designed solution procedure and its verification on a simplified model example 2. Introductory build computational model 3. Perform multi Operational calculation including ongoing analysis of results 4. Evaluation of calculating and writing technical reports
