The Research of material properties for the automotive industry
Original language description
The aim of the research was to measure material properties of steels for the automotive industry and define the limits of technological conditions for their operation. It was the determination of strength and deformation characteristics and especially fatigue properties. The research was determined Manso-Coffin curve to the area high cycle 1 000 000 fatigue cycles. Based on sample dimensions and documents delivered (chemical composition, range of operating conditions, method of stress in real traffic) was established a methodology to solve the problem: 1. Determination of the size and geometry of the test pieces. 2. Determination of the test conditions. 3. Manufacturing specimens. 4. Experimental conducting tests and measurements. 5. Evaluation of theexperiment and writing technical reports.
