The aim was to produce (cast) and measure the material properties of lightweight alloy of iron with a high proportion of aluminum and define the limits of technological conditions for their operation. It was the determination of technological progress, problem solving itself casting, design optimization TZ morphology kappa carbides and carbide M7C3, the ratio entering the alloying elements, controls cast ingots and determination of ultimate strength, toughness and microstructure analysis. On the basis of documents supplied by the customer (chemical composition, purity required and material properties, the range of operating conditions, method of stress in real traffic) was established a methodology to solve the problem: 1.
