    The aim of this report was research and development of nickel alloys used at cryogenic temperatures (down to 4K) for Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Three kinds of materials were involved in the project – nickel alloys Alloy 242, Alloy 825, and steel XM-19. In COMTES FHT were carried out especially experimental melting, documentation of microstructure and production of test specimens (tensile, CT for FCG and CT for fatigue).
