The contribution is conceived an analysis of a foreign example of privatization of the performance of the municipal security forces, or the situation when the role of "municipal police" was taken by the private security agency. It is a potentially sensitive topic, as might be seen through the recent opinion of the Security Policy Department of the Ministry of Interior, that is highlighting the potential pitfalls of such a procedure in the Czech Republic.
