The aim of the article is to analyse the development of part of the Czech liberal-conservative stream towards distinctively anti-EU position. The analysis focus mainly on the development within the Covici Democratic Party including the secesion of the group creatiing later the Party of Free Citizens. We stress also the acitivty of Party of Free Citizens in the domestic and European political arena.
