The article focuses on post-conflict development in Bosnia and Herzegovina and explores the legacy of the Dayton agreement which not only divided the country but also established a perplexing political system and the lasting international supervision. The article will seek to analyze the underlying conditions that hinder Bosnia’s political and economic development and the role of internal and external actors in the process of achieving consolidated statehood.
