Original language description
The Department of Asian Studies at MUP and the Center for Indo-Pacific Studies organized another of its annual conferences dedicated to Asian countries on 11 November. For the eighth time, a group of leading world and Czech experts gathered in the premises of the Žižkov MUP building, whose lectures were attended not only by selected guests, but also by dozens of school students. This year's issues were the challenges and challenges of contemporary Asian companies. The keynote spokespersons were selected from the two "branches" of this conference - a professor emeritus from the University of Delhi Malshri Lal debated the role of women in Asian societies, and Duncan McCargo, a major anthropologist and professor at Leeds University, lectured on the possibilities and limits of ethnographic research in Southeast Asia .
