Eurosceptic Parties in the Czech Republic’s 2014 European Parliamentary Elections Euroscepticism
Original language description
This chapter deals with the question of if and how Euroscepticism in the Czech Republic influenced the 2014 European Parliament elections. It reflects the changes in the representation of Eurosceptic parties in the European Parliament from the moment of the Czech Republic’s accession to the European Union until today. This study concludes that, in the case of the Czech Republic’s representation in the European Parliament, Euroscepticism among Czech parties weakened after the 2014 elections in terms of quantity, but intensified in terms of quality as hardened Eurosceptics began being represented.
