The Electoral Law (R)evolution that Never Happened
Original language description
The year 2020 could have been the right moment to talk about changing the Czech electoral law. This would not be a minor modification, but a significant change: the Ministry of Interior presented a proposal introducing a one-day election supplemented with postal voting before the election day and a simplified procedure for issuing electoral cards. The chapter discusses the possibility of this change and its implications, although it appears that the proposal will not be adopted in the end.
