Original language description
Despite being an ever-reluctant partner in security matters, the UK made an impacton many important instruments in the field of EU justice and home affairs (JHA),and it benefited substantially from common arrangements in internal security, such as the European Arrest Warrant (EAW), the Schengen Information System(SIS-II) and Prüm databases, Europol and Eurojust.1 Regrettably, Britain's decisionto withdraw from the EU effectively ended some of these arrangements, with noclear replacement on the horizon.
