    Complete (n, y) level scheme of 124Te

    Using the (n, y y) reaction an extensive nuclear level scheme of 124Te was established, containing 694 y transitions between 210 levels. The level density and level population are investigated and compared with calculations. Various models are tested, inparticular formulas for the g strength function. The neutron binding energy was determined to be 9424.53(10) keV and the thermal neutron capture cross section of the 123Te(n, y)124Te reaction to be 430(13) b.

    S použitím (n, y y) reakce jsme zjistili rozšířené schéma hladin 124Te, které obsahuje 694 y-přechodů mezi 210 úrovněmi. Hustota hladin a jejich populace jsou zkoumány a srovnány s výpočty. Jsou testovány různé modely, zejména výrazy pro g-silovou funkci. Vazbová energie neutronů je 9424.53(10) keV a účinný průřez pro pohlcení tepelných neutronů v reakci 123Te(n, y)124Te je 430(13) b.
