The Clustering of Cu atoms in Neutron Irradiated Reactor Pressure Vesel Stels Studied by Positron Annihilation

Result description

Defect induced by neutron irradiation in RPV steels were performed by two complementary techniques of positron annihilation spectroscopy: (i) positron lifetime spectroscopy and (ii) coincidence Doppler broadening. The formation of radiation-induced Cu-vacancy clusters was indicated and their behaviour during post-irradiation annealing studied.
