This work is devoted to investigation of power distribution changes on the periphery of the WWER-440 standard and low leakage type cores in fuel assemblies neighbouring the core blanket and dummy steel assembly simulators and to the power distribution changes in fuel assemblies neighbouring control rod absorbing part in WWER-440 type cores. Obtained experimental results can be used for code validation and subsequently for fuel pin failure occurrence investigation.
