Verification of irradiation parameters in neutron transmutation doping

Result description

The LVR-15 is a 10 MW research reactor mostly dedicated to material research and isotope production. One of the main utilization is neutron transmutation doping of silicon crystals. For the neutron transmutation doping, two acilities are designed. The old one is designed for 3" ingots; the new one has the ability to irradiate 4" ingots. The improvement of monitoring system using the self powered neutron detectors will be described. The requirement for independent check of the measurement provided by self powered neutron detectors resulted to the development of methodology for verification of parameters of irradiation. This methodology covers neutron fluence monitoring for standard production crystals and monitoring with special dummy irradiation capsule.
