Original language description
Nuclear energy generates electricity and process heat for various industrial applications. Particularly the High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor (HTGR) technology is one of the attractive source of process heat for industry, also selected by GIF. This paper is focused on presentation of the new technological experimental helium loops designed within the Sustainable Energy project (SUSEN). Those loops are going to allow research and development in the area of generation IV nuclear reactors including HTR and GFR systems for nuclear cogeneration. Proceedings of ICAPP 2015.
