Original language description
Materials and their resistance and degradation in high temperature gas coolant environment is one of the topics of research program concerning advanced gas cooled reactors; VHTR and GFR-Allegro belong in this group of reactors. High-temperature corrosion and also mechanical properties degradation of several alloys (e.g. 800 H, P91, 316 L, Inconel 738) during long-time exposure (up to 1500 hours) in simulated helium coolant atmosphere at 760 – 900 °C were tested. The selected results will be presented in the paper.
