Influence of Sigma Phase on Microstructure Behavior of X6CrNiNbN25-20 Steel and Weld Joints of Power Industry Components
Original language description
Modern fossil fuel power plant boilers are designed to transport superheated steam above 700 ° C. The paper deals with the change of structure of austenitic steels Super 304H and HR3C and also their welded joints after exposure to temperatures corresponding to the ultra-super critical (USC) and advanced ultra-super critical (A-USC) steam parameters with special focus on precipitation of sigma phase during long-term exposure at temperatures above 700 °C. Poster at VGB congress, Essen, Germany.
